"I think very highly of your camp from what I have heard from our players... I recommended your camp to [a player's] grandfather in his e-mail to me regarding the best camps for his grandson to attend during the summer... thanks for your teaching in the summer."
--Dr. Mark Mugiishi, former ‘Iolani School Coach, 7-time Hawaii State Champion.

Aloha and welcome to the Maui Sports Academy!  You have the opportunity to participate in this camp that will feature 50 of the top players (underclassmen & 2012 graduates) in the state of Hawaii by participating in the 8th annual Hawaii High School Basketball Exposure Camp.  It is the only camp in the state run by an all-college coaching staff from Hawaii and mainland colleges and universities.

The Hawaii High School Basketball Exposure Camp, run by the Maui Sports Academy, is by far the #1 basketball camp in the state.  The camp, the first of its kind in Hawaii, has been a huge success with over 350 players from around the state representing all six islands and schools such as ‘Iolani, Punahou, Kamehameha (all 3 campuses), Kahuku, Kalaheo, Hilo, Moanalua, Radford, Pahoa, Konawaena, King Kekaulike, Lahainaluna and Baldwin among others. See the list below of some of the great players that have attended.

The dates for the 2012 camp are June 18-22 and it will again be held in the beautiful and historic town of Lahaina, Maui at the Lahaina Civic Center, home of the EA Sports Maui Invitational. The camp’s capacity is set at 50 in order to guarantee a player-to-coach ratio of about 6:1, therefore assuring as much individual attention and instruction as possible.  The camp will be run similarly to the prestigious 5-Star camps that take place on the East Coast each summer. All the coaches have extensive camp experience as well as being college level coaches.

The cost of the camp is $425.  The fee includes housing and three meals/day, camp basketball gear (reversible jersey and shorts), camp T-shirt, basketball, evaluation form filled out by a college coach that can be sent out to colleges, transportation from and to the airport and outstanding instruction from very experienced coaches.  All outer-island campers are responsible for their own airfare to Maui (Kahului International Airport).

To ensure your spot you must return this registration form along with full payment of $425 in the form of a check or money order made out to the Maui Sports Academy ASAP.  Spots are filling up.  A late fee of $25 will be added to any payment post-marked after May 21st. You may also register instantly online by clicking on the Register page to the left.  Financial assistance is available. Just ask! No other camp in the state provides this option. Those who participated in this program last year on average received $283 towards their camp fee.

We are very excited about the 8th edition of this camp!  It will be a special learning experience for all those who participate.
